Tourism Queensland are looking to hire an “island caretaker” for Hamilton Island in Australia’s Whitsunday Islands. The work will entail a gruesome 12 hours per month, including strenuous activities such as swimming or diving in the beautiful clear surrounding waters, feeding sea turtles, collecting island mail and a “willingness to learn new things” - sounds tough!
Oh, and I almost forgot - after hours, the chosen caretaker will be required to maintain a blog - now that IS challenging!
